GARDENS OF THE WORLDS

ELC_4321
Today we visited our lovely GARDENS OF THE WORLDS – amazing unique park with a lot of cultures and gardens. It is different every time I was here πŸ™‚ My favorite place in this park is Rose Garden but in this time it was almost empty. But this place has a lot of other beautiful Gardens – look at this list πŸ™‚
🌸The Japanese Garden
The delicate balance and harmony of Asian culture has been beautifully captured in this peaceful setting surrounding an authentic Japanese Pagoda. Set in the midst of a Koi pond, encircled by bamboo and bridges, the Japanese Pagoda is a wonderful place to pause and savor a tranquil moment.
🌸The French Garden & Water Feature
Magnificent, cascading waterfall greets you after you pass through massive iron entry gates. A main attraction of the Gardens of the World, the waterfall is the centerpiece of the French Garden, with its lovely parterres are low-lying hedges and flowers of vibrant colors, arranged into intricate designs.
🌸The Mission Courtyard
The early history of the state of California and its famous Mission Trail can be experienced in the authentic Mission Courtyard. Colorful hand painted murals and a Spanish fountain grace the courtyard, surrounded by olive and citrus trees, creating a cool and soothing place to reflect on days gone by.
🌸The English Perennial & Rose Garden
An explosion of color greets the visitor in these gardens with their vivid floral displays. Rose varieties of contrasting shapes and sizes burst into bloom seasonally, creating the ultimate Garden experience.
🌸The Italian Garden
Take a stroll under a romantic grape arbor and enjoy our distinctive cypress trees, indigenous to the famed gardens of Italy. Running through the garden is a “chain” fountain inspired by historic Italian architecture.
🌸The Bandstand
This authentic replica of an American Bandstand provides a stage for concerts in the park that can be enjoyed from the grassy amphitheater beyond. Nearby is a picnic area complete with tables and benches.

POINT DUME in MALIBU

Point Dume is one of the most beautiful and popular places in Malibu.
Today morning I had every-year spring hike and enjoyed fantastic ocean view with a lot of yellow flowers!
This is photo from my phone, no filters or Photoshop!

With its close proximity to the film and television industry location, Point Dume’s Westward Beach continues to be a popular filming location for films, television, advertisements, and videos, appearing frequently whenever a beach scene is needed.
Important scenes in the Planet of the Apes series were filmed at Point Dume. The cliff face of the Point is obscured by the matte painting of the Statue of Liberty.
The Normandy landings of the film D-Day the Sixth of June were filmed at Point Dume.
Important scenes in the Planet of the Apes series were filmed at Point Dume’s Westward Beach.
In the Iron Man films set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the protagonist Tony Stark’s huge seaside mansion was set on Point Dume, at the edge of a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean and was given the fictitious address 10880 Malibu Point, 90265. Though interior shots were filmed on real sets, the mansion itself is fictional; because Point Dume is a protected area and construction on its cliffs is strictly prohibited, the home was created as a 3D model and digitally placed on the rocks in post-production.
The music video Sandcastles in the Sand for the TV show How I Met Your Mother was filmed on Point Dume State Beach.
The season 3 finale of Angel was filmed on the cliffs above Point Dume State Beach.
The TV series Son of the Beach was frequently filmed on Point Dume State Beach.
An episode of the television series Modern Family was filmed on Point Dume State Beach.
The pilot episode of I Dream of Jeannie was filmed at Point Dume, which served as the deserted South Pacific island where astronaut Tony Nelson’s (Larry Hagman) capsule washed ashore and he released (Barbara Eden) Jeannie from 2,000 years of imprisonment.
The wedding in the season 2 finale of Chuck was filmed on Point Dume State Beach.
The season 1 episode “Dominoes” of the television series Scorpion was mostly set at Point Dume.
And tadadadam! New filmmakers are coming on the Point Dume –
