Thank you so much for purchasing our balloons!
Here’s a quick guide to help you get the best results and enjoy them to the fullest:
1. How to Inflate a Foil Balloon
– Use a hand pump, balloon pump, or helium tank with a narrow nozzle.
– Locate the inflation tab – it’s usually found at the bottom of the balloon and looks like a flat, elongated tail.
– Insert the tip of the hand pump gently into the opening of the tab. Push it in carefully until you feel slight resistance — this means the nozzle has passed through the internal valve. Remove the pump nozzle carefully and press the valve area between your fingers for a few seconds to ensure it’s sealed properly. The valve is self-sealing — no need to tie or tape.
– Hold the tab firmly around the nozzle to prevent air from leaking during inflation.
– Begin pumping air slowly into the balloon. Inflate until the balloon feels firm but still slightly flexible to the touch.
⚠️ Do not overinflate – foil balloons can burst! Thats important! 80-90% will be enougth!
– Avoid direct sunlight, heaters, humidifiers, and air conditioners — sudden temperature or humidity changes may cause the balloon to deflate or wrinkle.
2. How to Seal:
Foil balloons are self-sealing – no need to tie them. Just remove the nozzle, and the valve will close automatically.
3. Hanging or Arranging:
Use a ribbon or string through the tab holes, or attach balloon tape/glue dots for displays and garlands.
4. When to Inflate Foil Balloons
For best results, we recommend inflating your foil balloons 3 to 12 hours before your event.
This gives you enough time to set up your decorations and make adjustments if needed.
Air-filled foil balloons can last for several days indoors, but it’s best to inflate them the same day to ensure they look fresh and wrinkle-free.
If using helium, inflate them no more than 5–6 hours before the event, as helium foil balloons may start to lose lift after 1–2 days depending on conditions.
5. How Long They Last:
Air-filled foil balloons can last days to weeks indoors.
Helium-filled foil balloons usually float for 1–4 days, sometimes longer, depending on size and temperature.
6. Storage Tips:
Store uninflated balloons flat in a cool, dry place.
Keep inflated balloons indoors, away from:
• Direct sunlight
• Heaters or open flames
• Sharp objects or rough surfaces
• Humidifiers and air conditioners – sudden changes in humidity and temperature can cause balloons to deflate or wrinkle.
